| The front reception at the caravan park where we are staying. Mum and Dad arrive tomorrow and will be here with us for 3 weeks. It will be awesome to see them. They can't wait for some warm weather! |

| Had a terrific arvo & dinner with Noel & Raylee our friends that we met at Lake Maraboon. They were on their way South & stayed overnight in our park in Mackay especially to catch up with us. |

| Spent Saturday arvo at the Mackay Beach Horse Racing Festival. |

| It was something different watching horse racing on the sand and some people even watched from their boats! |

| Took a break from Mackay and went camping in the tent for 3 days at Cape Palmerston. We stayed here on our way to Mackay about 5 weeks ago and it's great to be back. It's a magical spot that some friends we met in St George had told us to visit. |

| Our friends Helen and Ken took us for a tour around the area and this spot was beautiful! |

| At the end of a great day had a few beers with Helen & Ken. We will come back to the Cape and see them again in a few months time. |
