Another visit to Lake Tinaroo........

The reflection on the water at Lake Tinaroo is quite spectacular.

We were treated to a jaw dropping show at the Yungaburra Market on Saturday.  Imagine being able to balance your partner on your head whilst both juggling fire sticks!!!

Back from the Cape........

This is the famous Fruit Bat Falls we were lucky enough to be the only people there!

Cockatoo Creek on the Tele Track was a bit boggy going in and out.

Sections of the Tele Track were literally non existent!

Tac is standing in Gunshot Creek where people leave memorabilia.  There are a lot of car parts hanging up that have been damaged by doing this extremely steep creek crossing.

My first Saratoga caught on a gold bomber lure in the Wenlock River at Moreton Telegraph Station.

The Ranger definitely needs a good wash after s truly amazing journey up to the tip!

Loyalty Beach and the barracuda!

This is our camp site at Loyalty Beach.  I think we have found paradise!

Tac lands this snappy barracuda off the Seisia Jetty and.....

....gives it to this local lady who was very happy to make it her dinner.  Let's hope it didn't sit in the sun for too long!!!

Tac caught this trevally and an estuary cod.......

.......in this beautiful spot right at the very tip.

We travelled even further north to Thursday Island on the ferry.

It's a quant little island with friendly locals and magnificent surrounding blue waters!

The tour would not have been complete without a beer at the northern most pub in Australia!!

We made it!!!!!

After leaving Weipa we set off for the northern most tip of Australia!
  This is what it looks like when a road train flashes past.  All you can see is dust!

Not only were the corrugations huge....

........but the road was still wet in some places after all the rain.

It was a welcome site to see the Ferry office where you purchase your ticket to get across the Jardine River.

All aboard for the very short trip!  Not far to go now.......

We made it!!!!  Here we are at the very tip of Australia.  What a magic spot.  It truly is a beautiful country that we live in!
