Strange Creatures......

A gorgeous old building just out of Tennant Creek.  We would love to have this as our house!

We came across this strange creature in Camooweal.....

....and another crazy creature in Mount Isa.  You never know what you'll find in the outback!

The water was too cold to drag a Barra out of Lake Moondarra but still a tranquil place to visit.

Along the Stuart Highway.......

The Mataranka thermal springs where an absolute delight.  You simply hopped in and let the current float you downstream.  It was sooooo relaxing!

We'd always wanted to have a beer in this old pub and it was worth the chat at the bar with a very interesting and colourful lady!!

You can't go past the Daly Waters Pub and not stay for the "Beef and Barra" bbq along with the entertainment.  Here I am out the front with some dude that wanted to get into the photo.

A brilliant free camp on a lagoon teeming with bird life.  Not a bad way to end the day with a cold 4xxxx or two!

The amazing outback......

Lake Argyle is the largest man made lake in Australia.  It was humongous!

This 3 metre "freshie" was a regular visitor to the caravan park in Kununurra and....

.......so was this beautiful Jabiru.

The Victoria River on a very still hot day.

It was worth the walk on a very warm day to view these spectacular rock formations in
Keep River National Park.  It has been nick named the "mini bungle bungles".

El Questro!

We spent an awesome day in El Questro where we had to
drive through the river to get in.
The views were spectacular over the Pentecost River.....

.......from Pigeon Hole Lookout.

Moonshine Gorge was very pretty and a great swimming spot....

....as was this spectacular spot called Emma Gorge.
