Great day at the office!!

First came the Flattie........

........then came the Threadfin Salmon.......

......next was the Jewel Fish....

.......and another.....

.........and finally I get a Jewel Fish too!!!!!  

Back in the Gulf.....

Not much luck with the fishing so far.....

.....and a couple of skipjacks'!

Leichhardt (Twelve Mile) Lagoon........

We camped for a few days at Leichhardt Lagoon not far from Normanton.  It was basically a bush camp with showers and toilets.

Not a bad view at happy hour where we met some great people and had a beer or two!

A couple of big cherabin that we caught in the Norman River.

Tac is fishing with a hand line off the bank but no luck.

This whistling kite was waiting for a cherabin to come his way but they where to scarce to give away.

This is the bridge over the Flinders River, near Normanton, where we crossed in March and the water was lapping over the sides of the bridge.  Now it's just a creek about 10 metres below.
