Truly special.....

Whilst out crabbing we were treated to an awesome display by a dolphin hunting baitfish.
The dolphin would throw its tail out of the water in a circular shape to stun the bait fish so it could get himself a good feed.  We sat in our boat close by and watched while the dolphin did this over and over.  It was like nothing we have ever seen before and the sound of his tail slapping the water was awesome!
Another good feed.....

The Murray River in WA.....

Travelling along the Murray River on a beautiful day.  Unfortunately the bream did not participate!
Today was a warm one so we took to the beach for a refreshing dip!
We were lucky enough again to have another tasty dinner!

Happy days on the water......

We finally found a great spot to put the boat in at Mandurah.  Our first day on the water we rescued a couple of blokes who had battery problems!!
Not long after we landed a few nice bream.....
....with Tac's being the better fish!
I followed up with a nice size whiting and......
......with a few of these blue swimmer crabs we had ourselves a very tasty dinner!!

Australia Day on the Swan!

Travelling down the coast we stopped in to see "The Pinnacles".
We saw some funny sights on Australia Day travelling down the Swan River.
They even had a "Mr Whippy" boat selling ice creams.
Looking across from South Perth at the city view.
Have a look at the size of the bream we caught in the Swan River!!
It looks like snags for dinner again!
We spent a memorable day in Fremantle browsing through the markets and the eclectic array of shops.

Street art.......

A bit of fun in Geraldton.....

.......with some of the street art.
We really enjoyed our stay wandering.....
........the streets and taking in the sights.
Tac is standing under the dome at the HMAS Sydney memorial. Each bird represents a man who lost his life defending our country.
Lake Indoon was a peaceful spot to camp on our way South.

The "Pink Lake".....

We had heard about the "Pink Lake" in the small seaside town of Port Gregory but....
....it's not until you see it that you can believe how pink it actually is.
We spent a peaceful couple of days travelling down the WA coast dropping in on small seaside towns like Port Gregory and Horrocks.
This is Coronation Beach with literally 50 or so windsurfers and kite surfers enjoying the windy weather.
The marina at Geraldton on another sunny day!
