| The sunsets are amazing in Karumba just opposite from where we are working in a caravan park for the next 6 weeks or so. We are part of the team renovating the park before the season starts and the grey nomads arrive! |

| We left Tinaroo & started the first leg of journey along the Savannah Way. This pub in Ravenshoe is the highest in Qld! |

| Took a walk to the Millstream falls which are apparently the widest falls in Australia when they are at their full capacity. |

| Sections of the Gulf Development Road are only one skinny lane of bitumen. It makes passing a road train a bit hairy!! |

| Stayed overnight at Normanton, a small outback town and had an icy cold xxxx at the Albion Hotel. |

| We made it to Karumba a small fishing village on the edge of the Gulf of Carpentaria. It is the only beach on the gulf accessible by a bitumen road. |
