Caving in Chillagoe.........

Tac is standing up close to the "Balancing Rock" let's hope it doesn't fall

You would not believe that inside this black rock is .......
....... this amazing limestone cave.  
We took a guided tour with a park ranger and saw some really interesting formations like these "shark teeth".

Here I am inside a small cove within the cave.  The tour wasn't for the faint hearted as it was quite claustrophobic inside the many different levels and tunnels within the cave.

Chillagoe is also known for its mining from years gone by and this is the remains of an old copper smelter.

The Chillagoe Creek is a beautiful spot to cool off.  There are no crocs in here!!!!
