| The Roper Bar (which was built in the early 1900's as part of a supply route) allows safe crossing of the Roper River to the nearby aboriginal communities. |

| This picturesque spot is the Katherine River just on the outskirts of the Katherine township. We stayed a few days to give the caravan a spring clean after all that red dust!! |
